How do I get ready for my appointment?
When it is almost time to join a telehealth call, we suggest finding a well-lit, quiet and comfortable area to set up your preferred device. Telehealth calls can be joined on your phone, tablet, laptop or computer, as long as the device has strong internet connection. We recommend a laptop or desktop for a clear video view. Please also ensure your microphone and camera is enabled on your web-browser.
How do I join a Telehealth call?
Your health care professional will send you a link to join the Telehealth call when they are ready to start your consultation. You will be notified by email, text message and within your Oqea account on the Journey page. Please click the link in any of these notifications and follow the prompts.
You do NOT need to be logged into Oqea to join a Telehealth call.
You will receive an email and a text message regardless of whether you have logged in previously.
Simply click the link in the notification, and a new page will open.
Tip: Microphone and camera settings need to be enabled on the web-browser you are using. Oqea’s preferred browser is Chrome. Please check these settings prior to your consultation. Please note: You may not receive the email or text message at the exact time as your scheduled consultation. The link is only sent when your psychiatrist is set up and ready.
What do I do if I want to use my Oqea account?
Using Oqea is optional. If you do want to access it, please login at www.oqea.me or via the Oqea app. You do not need to register for a new account. If you have not set a password before, please follow the Forgot Password/ Reset Password steps.
